Grants are available through the Department of Trade and Industries ( DTI) Low Carbon Buildings Programme ( LCBP ).
The Low Carbon Buildings Programme aims to provide grants for micro-generation technologies (this includes Solar Thermal Hot Water) to householders, community organisations, schools, the public and not for profit sector and private businesses.
Essentially the current grant scheme will provide a maximum of �400 towards the costs of having a Solar Thermal Hot Water system installed. The grant scheme is closely monitored by the DTI and a number of criteria�s need to be met in order to satisfy the terms and conditions of the grant.
